Yet another day of travel...we packed up, checked out of the hotel, bought even more bread, meat, and cheese and walked around Old Town for a little while because we really hadn't seen that much of Zurich.
Believe it or not (because of the Prague train station photos that I posted) all of this awesomeness is in the Zurich train station.
And to demonstrate just how expensive Zurich is...
Here you can get a small fry, 2 cheeseburgers and a drink at McDonald's for 9 Swiss francs (which are worth about the same as a dollar). Nine dollars. For McDonalds.
And these are some of the views of our train back into France. Look at these beautiful flowers! They were everywhere. It really was a pleasant train ride...not to mention we were back on SNCF trains, which are the ones owned by the French companies. So they were much more comfortable. I'll never take my French trains for granted again...
And on my walk home from gares (the train station in Rennes) I saw this pretty sunset! Even though it was about 9:30pm.
