Finally some SUN!!!

We spent the day today exploring Taormina.

First we went to the Greek theater...

 

and after that a public garden.

Then we decided it was snack time and went to the best bakery in Taormina to get some cannoli, and they prepared them right in front of us!

After that we took a cable car down to the beach because the town is built on a mountain...

And while we were there I collected some sea glass!

 

Tonight we're gonna grab some dinner and have a "wine party" on Chris and Sarah's humongous wrap-around balcony. It's going to be fun! I'll post pictures of that afterwards.

Tomorrow we're heading to Altavilla Milicia (near Palermo) which is the town where my grandpa's grandpa grew up. We're going to meet up with some distant relatives, I think it's going to be a really good time!
